Since 2007, Evergreen Advanced Bodywork has offered high quality, therapeutic massage and bodywork in the historic Evergreen neighborhood of Midtown Memphis.  At EAB, we believe that "without awareness there is no choice"*.  Our mission is to help you feel and recognize dysfunctional patterns in your body. Your increasing awareness becomes the catalyst for positive change in both body and mind.

Lorrie Garcia, LMT, NCTMB, is the owner of Evergreen Advanced Bodywork.  She is a Faculty Member of The Massage Institute of Memphis, where she instructs students in Massage Theory & Practice, Pregnancy Massage, and Pathology.  Lorrie is a Professional Member of the AMTA and Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork by NCBTMB.

Her continuing education has included studying Myofascial Release personally with John Barnes.  She has completed MFR I, Cervical-Thoracic, Fascial-Pelvis, Rebounding, and is scheduled to complete Unwinding and MFR II in 2013.

Lorrie's work has been featured in The Commercial Appeal, The Lamplighter, skirt! Magazine, and Memphis Parent.  She has also appeared in Memphis Health and Fitness Magazine, Massage Therapy Journal, and Massage Magazine.

She is a third-generation, Memphis small business owner, and a Member of the Midtown Memphis Rotary Club.
